Wafer Fab Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Wafer Fab Equipment Engineer / Technician to join our client's semiconductor manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our existing Semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of our semiconductor products.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment with industrial equipment maintenance or engineering support.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, analog/digital signals, mechanical and vacuum troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis; ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of a variety of wafer fabrication equipment. This includes photolithography equipment, photoresist spin coaters, metrology tools, wet benches, Semitool SRDs, PVD metal sputtering systems, horizontal diffusion furnaces and LPCVD systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis techniques to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
• Maintain records / logs of maintenance activities.

Compensation:

$80,000 to $90,000 per year annual salary.
