Business Analyst

Business AnalystBusiness Analyst to support Mortgage Servicing System Modernization Program. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the mortgage servicing domain and experience in Agile delivery environments. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping current and future state processes, managing JIRA workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirementsConduct analysis and documentation of non-functional requirements for change initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teamsUnderstand the end-to-end testing scope, map the flow of events, and identify testing scenarios for validationManage product defect resolution by coordinating with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure timely fixesSupport Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demosCoordinate with product and technology teams to ensure proper understanding of requirementsPerform gap analysis and support UAT planning and executionEnsure traceability of requirements and maintain documentation as per program standardsRequired Skills & Qualifications:5–7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in financial servicesIT BA experience in mortgage loan servicing is preferred, but not mandatoryStrong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile project environmentsHands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and documentation of user stories and functional specificationsExperience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholdersSelf-starter with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
