Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert infusion therapy care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Deliver chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient comfort.

Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to oncology patients in a clinical environment.
Monitor patient responses to infusions and manage any adverse reactions promptly.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care and treatment progress using Epic electronic medical records.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure individualized patient care plans are followed.
Comply with all safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous medications.
Assist in patient education regarding treatment processes and post-infusion care.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient infusion or oncology setting.
Certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
Proficient in Epic EMR systems developed within the past 2 years.
Must have reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicles strongly recommended.
Ability to work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with no weekends required.
Willing to work 2 out of 4 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
