Attendance Clerk

Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. Under direct supervision, perform data entry regarding attendance and other statistics. General clerical support to front office.

High school diploma or GED

Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and word processing

Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance and 10-key skills

Ability to meet established deadlines

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Two years data entry experience

Records and Reports

1. Collect and enter attendance data into established database and verify accuracy of according to established procedures.
2. Prepare and print reports; including attendance reports, rosters, accounting reports or other reports as required.
3. Maintain physical and computerized records with timely and proficient filing.
4. Assist parents, students, and faculty with questions regarding student attendance.
5. Process and transmit requests for student information and transcripts.
6. Call parents to verify student absences as needed.
7. Report all attendance problems to designated administrator.

Other

1. Assist in campus office as needed.
2. Maintain confidentiality.

Computer and other common office equipment including but not limited to printer, calculator, and copier. Microsoft Suite office software, Google Suite, and other specific school programs/software.

Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer, moving from office to office and around campus. Some light lifting may be required.
