Nutritionist RD

The Nutritionist RD will:

• Identify patients at nutritional risk
• Assess assigned patients and completing accurate documentation
• Implement a nutritional care plan based on the assessment and needs of the patient
• Provide nutrition education to patients/family members
• Conduct community and/or patient education classes
• Advise Physicians and all related Medical Personnel in areas of nutrition
• Participate in Quality Assessments, i.e. completing chart reviews as assigned
• Assist with the development of in-service programs and updating Nutrition Care Manual/patient education materials

Requirements:

• Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Verbal and written ability required to comprehend and document dietetic practices, principles and theories, as well as to communicate effectively with Medical Personnel and Health Care Team Members and patients.
• Numerical ability required to compute dietetic values of food.
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients preferred.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR) Certification required or verification statement of completion of dietetic internship.

Salary Range: 61,339.00 - 98,134.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
