Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Pendleton, OR
Join our distinguished team as a Locum Physician specializing in Obstetric Hospitalist services in Pendleton, Oregon. You will be part of a dedicated program focused on delivering comprehensive obstetric services in a community-focused setting.
The position entails covering approximately 20 shifts per month, with each shift lasting 24 hours. Your responsibilities will include clinic work during weekday shifts, followed by on-call duties for the remainder of the day. Weekend shifts are scheduled exclusively on an on-call basis. This role requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Oregon
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in hospitalist or obstetric practice
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond promptly to patient needs
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Active Oregon state medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Previous experience working in community hospital settings
- Availability to start on 12/01/2025
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekends on-call
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
- Ability to travel to Pendleton, OR, if not local
