Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,348–$2,363 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour days, 4 shifts per week (6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), plus on-call Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: Surgical center OR; perioperative care Housing: Limited housing options; shared housing units available at $600/month based on availability Credentialing/onsite orientation: Orientation every 2 weeks; readiness for on-call emergencies Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care as the circulating OR nurse across multiple specialty areas (Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, Dental) Obtain scrubbing experience as needed; support the sterile technique and prepare operating room equipment for procedures Implement the nursing process: assess patients, formulate diagnoses, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient case flow Respond to emergencies and adapt to on-call cases with short notice Requirements Active RN license from any U.S. state; Arizona RN license is not required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current or in process (American Heart Association) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire CNOR certification (CCI) within 1 year of hire TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) within 2 years of hire Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Experience: Two (2) years of clinical nursing and/or operating room perioperative experience Ability to work in a perioperative setting with on-call responsibilities Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay in the stated range Guaranteed 36 hours per week Housing options available; shared housing at $600/month based on availability Orientation every 2 weeks and ongoing clinical support Travel and assignment support from a dedicated recruiter Assignment length: 13 weeks with potential extensions based on need and performance About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
