Duties

Help

• Provides authoritative technical solutions to complex challenges referred by other staff personnel.
• Monitors civilian onboard strength in relations to budget, TDA structure, and command priorities.
• Maintains expert knowledge of performance evaluation systems, including policies, procedures, and practices in order to advise supervisors.
• Performs management analysis in all divisions regarding matters of economical utilization of manpower within the organization.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: O ne year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes the following. Work on the civilian programs policies, procedures, and guidance for operations to assist with productivity, quality management, and organization improvements such as cost management, strategic readiness, and performance management. Work on the development of the Resource Management Programs annual budgets, administrative processes and procedures related to resource management for things such as (manpower, personnel, funds, equipment).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
