Stark State College Bookstore Position

Typical Responsibilities Include:

• Providing excellent customer service to students and staff
• Accurately processing sales in the bookstore
• Checking in new inventory with attention to detail
• Stocking shelves
• Other duties as assigned

To Be Considered, You'll Need:

• You will need to be enrolled in classes at Stark State College
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Retail experience is preferred.

Typical College Store Hours*:

Monday - 8:00 am-6 pm

Tuesday - 8:00 am-6 pm

Wednesday -8:00 am-6 pm

Thursday - 8:00 am-6 pm

Friday - 10:30 am- 4:00 pm

*Store and work hours will vary around school schedules and the needs of the college.

The chosen references receive job-specific surveys on at least 26 critical behaviors and skills. These behavioral competencies have been scientifically studied and have been shown to correlate with work outcomes.

Stark State College utilizes E-Verify to ensure compliance with applicable employment eligibility laws. E-Verify is an electronic system used to confirm the employment eligibility of new hires. This process will be conducted in accordance with I-9 verification and will be done promptly upon hire for all incoming employees.
