Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general veterinary care Perform wellness and preventive examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans Perform routine general surgical procedures Provide comprehensive veterinary dental care Manage appropriate walk-in and same-day cases Utilize in-house diagnostic capabilities Interpret digital radiographs and laboratory results Utilize ultrasound capabilities where appropriate Provide safe anesthesia and perioperative patient care Monitor patients throughout surgical and dental procedures Educate clients on preventive care and treatment recommendations Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and their pets Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff Exercise appropriate medical autonomy and professional judgment Participate in continuing education and professional development Candidate Profile Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university . Applicants must possess an active California veterinary license . A current DEA license and USDA accreditation are preferred but not required . Candidates should be proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry and comfortable managing a varied small animal caseload.
