About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Programs to serve as the chief program officer, with a focus on strategic leadership, operational performance, clinical integration, and long-term sustainability of programmatic services. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming individual programs into a fully integrated, client-centered system of care, ensuring excellence, accountability, and measurable impact. This role involves executive oversight of a comprehensive continuum of care, including behavioral health, substance use treatment, older adult services, and community-based programs. The Vice President of Programs will also be a key representative to the Board of Directors, lead organization-wide transformation initiatives, and model the culture and values of the organization. Candidates for the Vice President of Programs position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Doctorate or advanced executive leadership training. A minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or related sectors is required, with at least 7 years in senior leadership overseeing multiple programs or service lines. The role demands a proven track record in leading large-scale organizational change, managing complex service systems, and multimillion-dollar budgets, as well as experience with Medicaid-funded services, state and federal grants, and accreditation standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and leading high-performing teams, and be adept at fostering strategic partnerships and representing the organization in the community.
