What You’ll Get To Do:
The Security Officer Unarmed will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our property and tenants. The Security Officer Unarmed will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, tenants, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Patrolling premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Monitoring and responding to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Security officer training certification preferred
- 2 years of proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Schedule Sat/Sunday 3pm-11pm and 11p-7am (24 hours/week)
