The Travel Special Education Teacher plays a vital role in delivering tailored educational support to students with special needs across multiple locations. This position requires adaptability, specialized knowledge, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments that meet individual student goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs and environments.
• Travel between assigned schools or educational sites to provide consistent support services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to optimize student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress regularly.
• Manage classroom behavior to create a positive, productive learning atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in special education.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Possession of a state Special Education Teaching License.
• Strong classroom management skills.

We are a Non-Public Agency certified by the Department of Education (DOE). We provide Special Education Services like Speech Therapy, Occupational and behavior therapy etc to the schools districts. We currently work with 400 school districts Nationwide
