Family Office Accountant

We are a private single family office managing diverse investments, trusts, and personal financial affairs. We are seeking a detail-oriented Family Office Accountant to join our team and ensure accurate financial reporting, proactive cash management, and seamless coordination with external advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain general ledgers for family entities, trusts, and partnerships.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and consolidated reports.
• Reconcile bank, brokerage, and investment accounts.

Tax & Compliance

• Coordinate with tax advisors for annual filings (individual, trust, partnership, corporate).

Cash & Investment Management

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity across entities.
• Track capital calls, distributions, loans, and intercompany transfers.

Administration

• Manage vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and household payroll.
• Assist with insurance renewals, property management, and philanthropic giving records.
• Assist with other special projects as needed

Advisory Support

• Provide reporting and analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in public accounting, private wealth, family office, or investment management.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar) and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with principals and external advisors.
