Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHave 3+ years of construction/roofing/exterior project management experience?Get paid to travel, solve problems, and keep roofing projects on track across multiple markets.Company vehicle, gas card, excellent benefits, and variety—no two weeks are the same.The Role The Senior Roofing Project Manager is a highly mobile field role responsible for providing on-site installation oversight and support in markets where additional coverage, escalated issues, or quality assurance are needed. This role supplements local Project Managers by addressing workload surges, market gaps, or high-risk installs. The Senior Roofing Project Manager ensures installation standards, job site safety, and customer experience are upheld regardless of location.The ResponsibilitiesMarket Support & CoverageTravel to assigned markets to support installs lacking local Project Manager coverageAssist with jobsite coordination during high-volume weeks or personnel absencesServe as a flexible resource for pop-up markets or expansion zonesJobsite Oversight & DocumentationConduct pre-install walkthroughs, install-day monitoring, and post-install inspectionsCapture and upload photos into the CRM system and complete install checklistsCoordinate subcontractor and material adjustments in the field when neededIssue Resolution & EscalationAddress onsite customer concerns and coordinate with Production Manager for rapid resolutionIntervene in subcontractor quality, pacing, or communication issues as they ariseEscalate systemic patterns or jobsite risks to the Production Manager, Quality Manager and/or Production DirectorField Coaching & Quality ControlProvide on-the-job coaching to subcontractors in partnership with the Quality ManagerReinforce SmartRoof installation standards and field documentation practicesSupport pilot programs or new product installs as neededCustomer CommunicationServe as a trusted SmartRoof representative for customer questions during installExplain project timelines, address minor scope questions, and gather real-time feedbackExpected Outcomes:Markets with staffing gaps experience no drop in install oversight qualityCustomers feel well-supported and informed regardless of project locationSubcontractors receive coaching and feedback to maintain consistent standardsInstall documentation is completed correctly in all supported regionsProduction leadership has field-level support for special projects and risk mitigationExperience & Qualifications3+ years of experience in construction, roofing, or project managementExperience with subcontractor oversight and construction job cycle managementStrong working knowledge of project workflows, CRM tools, and permittingAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication and documentation skills with a solutions-oriented mindsetTravel RequirementsThis role requires travel to all SmartRoof markets, including but not limited to PA, DE, MD, DC, and NC on a regular as-needed basis.Company OverviewSmartRoof is a fast-growing provider of roofing, solar, and home improvement solutions, committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
