Information Security Engineer

This role is designed for candidates who possess a blend of application development, network support engineering, SQL scripting, and project coordination skills. The position is critical for translating business needs into effective queries and leading projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support applications with a focus on security.
• Provide network support engineering expertise.
• Utilize strong SQL scripting skills to understand and implement business logic.
• Serve as the team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SQL.
• Coordinate and manage projects, including planning, defining requirements, and assembling resources.
• Ensure security logging and transport methods, such as Splunk, are effectively utilized.
• Maintain and review documentation, ensuring accurate revision and updates.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Skills:

• Advanced SQL scripting and querying skills.
• Application development experience is valuable and beneficial.
• Strong network support engineering experience is essential.
• Experience in large, regulated corporate environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with GitHub, particularly securing key information in repositories.
• Basic knowledge of Copilot integrated with GitHub is important.
• Project management skills, including planning and requirement definition.
• Experience with security logging and log transportation to Splunk.
