Branch Banking Leader

Position Title: Branch Banking Leader Location: Hewlett, NY 11557 Job Summary Branch Banking Leader coaches a high‑performing branch team to meet and exceed performance targets by teaching, training, and modeling sales behaviors while ensuring operational excellence. The role focuses on coaching to sales, revenue growth, and operational integrity with a focus on successful sales and client experience behaviors while delivering high level of client service. Job Responsibilities Drive market growth of primary client relationships and achieve growth targets in financial performance (deposits, loans, and non‑interest income). Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives. Use independent judgment and discretion to make sound financial decisions. Create and execute business development, actively support execution of partner‑produced sales and branch initiatives. Provide training, development, and coaching to branch teams on mission and how to effectively engage to deliver on targets. Foster an environment that encourages talent management functions including employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements. Deliver client engagement and education using available tools and systems, fostering a culture focused on exceptional client experience with a commitment to mission and purpose. Analyze and resolve problems pertaining to branch operations and client satisfaction. Foster disciplined risk management, helping teams identify and mitigate reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks, ensuring team awareness and adherence to all applicable bank policies and regulations. Maintain compliance with regulatory and compliance policies and standards and complete required compliance training. Perform special projects and additional duties as required. Job Requirements Education: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) Minimum 5+ years of overall branch sales experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent). Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation.
