Join the Pearl of Fox River Valley team as a talented Cook in Elgin, IL! Our mission is to provide exceptional care and delicious meals to our residents and guests.
As a Cook with our team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of meals for our residents and guests. You will be part of a dynamic kitchen team that is committed to providing high-quality food and exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menus
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Ensure all food is prepared and served safely and in a timely manner
Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to plan and implement menus
Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory
Participate in menu planning and specials preparation
Cook duties may include but are not limited to: cooking, baking, and food preparation
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and recipes accurately
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
