Role DescriptionBusiness Project Manager serves as the responsible project manager for multiple technology transformation projects of variable complexity for Property and Casualty North America Underwriting and Operations. The role will support both active and in-flight projects as well as newly initiated projects. The role sits in the business unit, reporting to the PCNA Business Transformation Lead.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and Project Management and Governance Lead planning and analysis activities, providing insights that shape executionCollaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive delivery outcomesDirectly manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closure including the production and presentation of:Project requestsRASCI matrixStatements of workKickoff materialsSteering committee materialsRAID logsChange logsProject plansProject financialsRisk escalation and mitigationInternal gate reviewsProject audits UAT plansRole Qualifications and Experience8+ years project management3+ years domain experience in Property and Casualty reinsurance, Property and Casualty primary insurance, or financial services projectsProven track record of directly managing multiple active projects Experience delivering projects using agile, waterfall, and hybrid methods Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendorsExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.Proven ability to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
