Registered Nurse PACU

PACU Registered Nurse - Full Time Location Colorado Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts are scheduled from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a requirement for on-call duties including one 24-hour call per month on weekends and two weeknight calls per month. Job Description We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and pre-operative areas. The candidate will primarily work at the designated facility but may be required to float to alternate locations as needed. This position mandates adherence to all professional standards and guidelines. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient conditions in the PACU. Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed. Provide post-operative care and support to patients recovering from anesthesia. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of recent PACU experience. Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from approved providers. No hits on the state license to practice in Colorado. A valid driver's license for residency verification.
