Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Director of Housekeeping leads environmental services operations to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.Responsibilities for Director of Housekeeping:Oversee all housekeeping and environmental services operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.Develop and implement cleaning schedules, maintenance routines, and quality standards in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance, teamwork, and high-quality service delivery.Ensure compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Manage supply inventory for housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective use.Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and service excellence within the housekeeping department.Qualifications for Director of Housekeeping:3 years of general maintenance experience (including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.) required.HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience is a plus.Basic understanding of computer use, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer, required.Knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems required.Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for day, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts, preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and maintain high standards of facility appearance and safety.Our Core Values in Action:Passion – Taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that enhances residents' daily experience.Respect – Ensuring every space reflects dignity, comfort, and care for residents, families, and staff.Excellence – Delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and facility operations through attention to detail and strong leadership.Benefits for Director of Housekeeping:Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee engagement and culture committeeCompany-sponsored life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) resourcesJoin our team at Holiday Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 170-bed Sub-Acute, and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
