Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to help support the daily operations of a dynamic property management team. In this role, you will contribute to resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall success of the property by assisting with leasing, maintenance coordination, administrative tasks, and customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and service-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the property and assist with overall site management.
• Provide responsive, professional service to current and prospective residents.
• Assist with leasing activities, including property tours, application processing, and lease preparation.
• Help maintain accurate resident files, records, reports, and lease documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to help ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Conduct follow-up on resident concerns, move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and other key lifecycle activities.
• Assist with rent collection efforts, account tracking, and basic financial reporting.
• Support inspections, property walks, and efforts to maintain curb appeal and common area standards.
• Help enforce community policies and lease terms in a consistent and professional manner.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and occupancy goals through outreach and leasing support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management, leasing, hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and property management software is a plus.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of leasing processes, resident relations, and property operations.
• Experience supporting collections, reporting, or administrative workflows.
• Familiarity with fair housing principles and applicable landlord-tenant regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
