Fire Department of Liberty Township is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This full-time, remote position is based in Clayton and offers an exciting opportunity to serve the community within the public safety industry. Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for community members via phone, email, and online channels.
• Provide accurate information about Fire Department services, programs, and procedures.
• Assist with non-emergency requests and direct urgent matters to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and inquiries in our customer service system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and follow up with customers as needed.
• Educate callers on fire safety and prevention resources.
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and documentation.
• Respond to public inquiries regarding permits, inspections, and community events.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards in all communications.

Requirements

• Entry-level position; no prior professional experience required.
