Your Role - What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for a variety of tests.
• Thoroughly document processes, serve as a mentor for new staff or students, and uphold stringent lab quality standards.
• Keep a safe and organized workspace in accordance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health credential alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year from your starting date.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
