Location: Lafayette, LA
Pay: $18.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Carpenter / Make Ready Technician to help refurbish and prepare mobile homes. This position is hands-on and ideal for someone with residential construction, remodeling, handyman, or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform interior and exterior repairs on mobile homes
  • Complete "make ready" work including repairs, upgrades, and final preparation
  • Replace/repair flooring, trim, doors, cabinets, fixtures, and other carpentry items
  • Perform basic drywall repairs, painting, and general maintenance tasks
  • Inspect units and identify items needing repair or improvement
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Previous carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, or construction experience preferred
  • Must have your own basic hand tools
  • Must provide your own steel toe boots
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the day
Preferred Experience:
  • Mobile home repairs/refurbishing
  • Residential remodeling
  • Make ready turns
  • Flooring, framing, drywall, painting, or finish carpentry
