We are seeking a candidate with at least 1 year of personal injury paralegal experience who can step in and contribute right away. Job Duties
As a Personal Injury Paralegal, youll play a key role in moving cases forward and supporting our attorneys from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
Communicating with clients , insurance companies, and other professionals
Opening and closing cases in our case management system
Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, demand letters, discovery, and correspondence
Preparing demand packages for attorney review
Organizing case files
Reviewing medical records and bills for accuracy and coordinating follow-ups
Filing pleadings with court clerks
Conducting legal research and investigating case facts
Supporting attorneys with case strategy and preparation
This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines will make a real impact.
Knowledge & Basic Qualifications
Should have at least 1 year of personal injury paralegal or law firm experience
Associates Degree or equivalent required
Paralegal certification preferred
Strong organizational and time management skillsyoure the person who keeps lists and ensures everything is moving forward
Excellent written and verbal communicationyoure comfortable on the phone, whether making calls or answering them, and you speak up when something doesnt look right
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Comfortable with technology and learning new systems, including case management software to track case progress and report on status
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
A kind and empathetic approachour clients are often going through some of the hardest moments of their lives, and we aim to make things better, not worse
