Business Development Representative (Long-Term Care)

Our mission is to provide compassionate, reliable, and highly skilled nursing professionals who elevate the standard of resident care and support facility operations with excellence and integrity. Position Summary We are seeking a driven, well-connected Business Development Representative with a background in long-term care to help expand our client network. The ideal candidate already has established relationships with facility administrators, directors of nursing, or corporate decision-makers in the skilled nursing industry. This position requires someone who can hit the ground running and meet company goals within the first week by securing at least one new facility contract. Reports to CEO Key Responsibilities Identify, contact, and secure new long-term care facility clients for supplemental nurse staffing services. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with administrators, Directors of nursing , and corporate leaders in the healthcare industry. Present and promote Prolific Nursing’s services through in-person visits, phone calls, networking events, and virtual meetings. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly business development goals. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and referral networks. Collaborate with company leadership to develop strategic sales plans and marketing outreach. Maintain accurate records of contacts, leads, and contracts using company CRM tools or reporting systems. Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence in care. Qualifications Required: Proven background in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare staffing. Required: Established network or client contacts within the long-term care industry. Strong understanding of facility staffing challenges and workforce needs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven attitude. Must be able to meet the company’s goal of securing at least one new facility partnership within the first week of hire. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel to client sites. Excellent phone skills Strong time management Goal oriented/ self motivated 1 year experience in sales inside/ outside staffing industry make outbound calls to generate new business 80% of time Travel to facility client sites 20% of time Compensation Competitive base pay plus high commission structure (based on contracts secured and facility utilization). Performance bonuses available. Travel and business expenses reimbursed.
