Media Intern

The Chernoff Newman internship program aims to offer a well-rounded experience that includes a deep dive of agency life. Chernoff Newman’s interns do not simply fetch coffee or stuff envelopes; they are immersed in our client and agency business work. The program offers three internships each year in the fall, spring and summer semesters, aligning with the applicant’s school schedule. A media intern at Chernoff Newman will have good math skills, an inherent sense of curiosity and strong problem-solving skills to work in our media buying team on Facebook and Google advertising campaigns. The selected candidate will work in-person in the Columbia office. Responsibilities and work projects include: Help with the development of digital media plans, supporting the Media Planner/Buyer Assist with setting up and monitoring Facebook and Google campaigns, ensuring accuracy and optimizing to KPIs Help ensure creative specifications are provided and final creative is uploaded Assist with reporting and analyzing buys post-campaign Assist reconciling buys and clearing billing Candidate requirements: Bright, engaging self-starter who thrives on collaborating with others Seek solutions before being asked or prompted Detail-oriented, diligent with each task and can work on multiple initiatives Excellent math skills, comfortable working with spreadsheets Good verbal and written communication skills Have an interest in social media and advertising Desire to learn and grow professionally at a leading communications firm Current enrollment in a related BS or BA Applicants are expected to work 15-20 hours each week and are compensated $12/hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr CHERNOFF NEWMAN
