ADMS Solution Architect

CTG is seeking an experienced ADMS Solution Architect to support a utility transformation initiative focused on evaluating, modernizing, and integrating operational technology (OT) and enterprise IT applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in utility systems, application architecture, and ADMS‑related workflows, partnering with business and technical teams to ensure operational applications are prepared for future‑state ADMS integration. Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 2 months Key Responsibilities Assess current operational applications, including OMS,

SCADA

, GIS, CIS, Asset Management, DERMS, and Customer Portals, to validate capabilities and identify limitations. Evaluate application readiness for future‑state ADMS implementation and identify required upgrades, replacements, and integrations. Partner with Business Analysts and Integration Architects to map prioritized ADMS workflows to supporting applications. Document application dependencies, interfaces, data inputs, outputs, and workflow interactions. Identify application functionality gaps and recommend scalable architectural solutions. Support enterprise integration planning and ensure applications align with future operational workflows. Provide architectural guidance for utility modernization initiatives and digital transformation efforts. Ensure application capabilities support real‑time grid operations, analytics, and regulatory requirements. DERMS

Asset Management Customer Portals Strong understanding of utility operational workflows such as: Outage Management Switching Operations Asset Tracking Customer Communications Experience evaluating enterprise applications for ADMS or utility transformation initiatives. Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture, data flows, APIs, and utility integration standards. Ability to identify application capability gaps and develop practical solution recommendations. Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, Integration Architects, and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting ADMS, DMS, EMS, or Grid Modernization programs. Familiarity with utility compliance and regulatory requirements affecting operational applications and data. Experience aligning application architecture with real‑time operations and enterprise analytics strategies. Knowledge of utility data integration, interoperability, and digital transformation best practices. Experience 8+ years of solution architecture or enterprise application architecture experience. Demonstrated success supporting electric utility modernization or ADMS implementation projects. Strong background documenting application architectures, workflow mappings, and integration dependencies. Utility industry experience is strongly preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
