Journeyman Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

New opportunity with a global leader in Building Management Systems and pharmaceutical facility operations that’s expanding its Automation & Controls team and looking to hire two BMS/HVAC Automation & Controls Technicians for critical site operations at their Raritan, NJ campus. This is a full‑time, on‑site technical role supporting 24/7 facility operations within a complex, GMP‑regulated environment. You’ll serve as the on‑site technical authority for building automation performance, HVAC troubleshooting, environmental monitoring, and system optimization across a high‑visibility pharmaceutical manufacturing campus. Responsibilities Monitor and manage site‑wide Building Management and Environmental Monitoring Systems (BMS/EMS) to ensure optimal facility performance Troubleshoot HVAC systems, air handlers, mechanical equipment, and controls to maintain environmental stability Program, adjust, and diagnose issues within Honeywell BMS and Siemens EMS controls platforms Analyze and run system trends to identify performance issues, inefficiencies, or potential failures Support GMP‑regulated and validated clean‑room environments through continuous monitoring and accurate documentation Respond to alarms, system faults, and mechanical failures, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions Maintain technical documentation for system updates, adjustments, and control logic changes Collaborate closely with Facilities, Engineering, and Operations teams to support production uptime and environmental compliance Assist in optimizing system performance, improving reliability, and enhancing control strategies Provide shift‑based technical support as part of a 24/7 operations schedule, ensuring seamless coverage Qualifications Strong HVAC background with hands‑on troubleshooting of mechanical and control systems Honeywell BMS programming experience Proficiency with trend analysis and system diagnostics Mechanical systems expertise (chillers, boilers, AHUs) HEPA filtration knowledge Clean‑room experience (GMP, ISO, cGMP environments) Electrical troubleshooting background Industry certifications such as Universal EPA, Black Seal, or advanced HVAC credentials Pay Rate Competitive hourly rate + benefits Location Raritan, NJ - full on‑site presence required #J-18808-Ljbffr
