Field Sales Representative Utility Infrastructure (Northern Michigan)

This is a long term contract

Location: North/Central Michigan (Big Rapids and North)

Position Type: Full-Time, Field-Based

Travel: Extensive driving within territory; regular overnights required

Are you a self-motivated professional who loves the freedom of the open road and building real relationships? We are expanding our footprint in Northern Michigan and looking for a dynamic Field Sales Representative to drive our large-scale gas utility expansion projects.

Working within a tight-knit, collaborative sales team, you will serve as the face of our companyengaging directly with prospective customers, securing crucial easements, and helping power local communities. • Drive Regional Growth: Manage and expand territory sales across North Central Michigan (Big Rapids and North) through direct, face-to-face community outreach.

• Secure Project Infrastructure: Educate prospective customers on the benefits of the utility expansion and successfully secure necessary easements.

• Collaborate for Success: Partner closely with internal project managers and cross-functional teams to meet and exceed yearly regional goals.

• Navigate with Autonomy: Manage your own daily travel, schedule, and territory mapping under general supervision, utilizing a high degree of creativity and latitude.

• The Road Warrior Mentality: You love to travel! You are comfortable with extensive regional driving and regular overnight stays.

• Relationship Builders: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build quick rapport face-to-face with community members.

• Tech-Savvy & Organized: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office to track progress, log data, and communicate with the team.

• Reliable Transportation: A valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and a reliable, insured personal vehicle are required.
