Quality Control TechnicianLocation: N25 W23040 Paul Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072 Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Competitive CompensationThe Dixon Group is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for in-process audits in production, inspecting and approving incoming materials, and managing calibration of gauges. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:Develops incoming and in process inspection plansCreates inspection reports and initiates a material review board (MRB) if parts are not in compliance with drawingSupports engineering by designing and producing test and inspection fixturesReceives incoming product and ensures product compliance and integrityIs involved in investigations and corrective actions for defects and customer complaintsInitiates cost reduction activities to minimize waste, scrap, and rework, which will directly reduce the business unit's cost of poor quality (COPQ)Continual improvement agent for the businessMaintain and manage quality control instruments and testing equipmentEnsure compliance with the QMS by providing training and conducting auditsUse the DDS (ERP System) to receive and document inventoryInspect products using CMM, Vision System, Calipers, Micrometers and other equipment as neededPerform statistical analysis studies on parts for incoming and PPAP needsHelp develop the QA team into a world class departmentDevelop and maintain adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and proceduresPerform internal and external quality audits.What We're Looking For:Associates Degree, technical certification or equivalent manufacturing quality experience may be consideredMinimum of 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentCAD software certificate such as; CSWA (SOLIDWORKS CAD Design Associate Certificate) or CSWP (SOLIDWORKS CAD Design Professional Certificate)Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications using GD&T standardsHands-on mechanical aptitude for fitting and assembling parts for functional testingProficient in software tools including Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, CAM, and PDM systemsAbility to adapt to new platforms as neededAbility to use a CMM, Visions system and all other measurement toolsWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your familyCompetitive salaryBonus programs401K retirement planTraining opportunitiesTuition reimbursementPaid vacation, PTO, and holidaysGym reimbursements, and more!Who We Are: The Dixon Group is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with a history of over 100 years of operation in the U.S.A.
