We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory / Materials Specialist to support maintenance operations in an industrial environment. Hiring: Inventory / Materials Specialist I Location: Wilmington, NC Work Model: 100% Onsite Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift Duration: Long-term opportunity Key Responsibilities Manage and organize maintenance parts and storage areas Perform cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory reconciliation Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for replacement parts Review and update Bills of Material (BOMs), part numbers, descriptions, and quantities Maintain accurate inventory and technical records Work with maintenance teams and engineers to verify parts and specifications Deliver parts, materials, and tools to maintenance teams Analyze parts usage and identify obsolete inventory Follow site safety and operational procedures Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials, maintenance support, or parts management Experience with inventory systems; ERP or CMMS experience is preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory reconciliation Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and parts lists BOM management experience is a plus High School Diploma or GED If you have experience in inventory, warehouse operations, materials management, maintenance parts, or industrial environments, we would love to connect!
