Visual Merchandising Manager, Field (Southeast)

Location:Secaucus, New JerseyJob Summary:The Visual Merchandising Manager, Field is responsible for driving consistent, high-quality execution of visual merchandising standards across The Children’s Place store fleet. This role brings the brand’s visual strategy to life by ensuring stores execute outfitting, promotional messaging, and product presentation in an engaging, easy-to-shop, and commercially effective way. Partnering closely with the Director, Visual Merchandising, Field , this role translates seasonal direction into clear, actionable guidance for store teams. With a strong focus on field presence, the Visual Merchandising Manager reinforces standards, and ensures all visual directives are executed accurately, on time, and in alignment with the brand’s value-driven, high-volume retail model.Responsibilities:Key Accountabilities:Fleet Execution & Brand ConsistencyDrive consistent execution of brand visual standards across all store locationsEnsure all stores are aligned to floor sets, outfitting tables, mannequin styling, and window presentationsMaintain high standards for folding, size runs, and fixture organization to support a clean, easy-to-shop environmentEnsure visual execution clearly communicates price value, promotions, and key item storiesOutfitting & Product PresentationReinforce head-to-toe outfitting strategies to drive multiple unit salesEnsure product is presented in coordinated outfits that simplify shopping for parents and caregiversSupport strong color flow, size integrity, and replenishment standards across tables and wallsElevate basic and core products through clear, compelling presentationPromotional ExecutionEnsure accurate and timely execution of promotional signage, price points, and marketing updatesValidate that stores reflect current offers, multi-buy messaging, and value communicationPartner with store teams to execute frequent promotional changes in a fast-paced retail environmentField Support & CoachingConduct regular store visits, visual audits, and walkthroughs to assess execution and identify opportunitiesProvide hands-on coaching to store leaders and associates on folding standards, outfitting, and visual presentationBuild visual capability within stores to ensure sustainable executionAct as the primary field contact for visual merchandising supportFloor Set Execution & ImplementationSupport and oversee execution of seasonal floor sets, new collections, and visual refreshesEnsure all visual updates are implemented accurately and within established timelinesTroubleshoot in-store challenges and adapt direction as needed while maintaining brand standardsAlign visual execution with inventory flow and store-specific constraintsCross-Functional PartnershipPartner with Store Operations to ensure visual standards are practical and executableCollaborate with Merchandising and Planning to ensure product availability supports visual directionProvide feedback to corporate teams on execution challenges, store needs, and opportunitiesCommunication & Continuous ImprovementReinforce and clarify visual guidelines, floor set directives, and promotional updatesCapture and share best-in-class store execution to drive consistency and inspiration across the fleetIdentify trends and opportunities to improve visual execution and store performanceSupport initiatives that drive conversion, units per transaction (UPT), and overall salesEducation and Experience:5+ years of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably in children’s or value-driven retailStrong experience executing high-volume floor sets, folding standards, and promotional updatesProven ability to coach and influence store teams in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel frequently across store locationsSkills & Behaviors:Experience in kids, family, or value-oriented retail brandsStrong understanding of outfitting strategies and multi-unit sellingAbility to manage frequent change in a promotionally driven retail calendarStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Adobe InDesign preferredStrong execution and attention to detailHands-on, field-focused leadershipAbility to simplify and communicate clearly to store teamsResults-driven with strong commercial awarenessAdaptable and responsive in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of ownership and accountabilityHourly/Salary$75,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salaryo Benefits include: Bonus eligible (depending on role), Paid Time Off, Employee Discount, 401(k) and company match, Wellness Reimbursement, Adoption Assistance, free backup care (for kids, pets & the elderly), choice of health insurance plans, company-paid life/AD&D, short and long term disability, a variety of voluntary benefits and an employee assistance program.
