Environmental Services Tech

Environmental Service Tech Evening 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Eligible for benefits
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy and welcoming environment in patient and non-patient areas to ensure that Ridgeview customers and families receive the highest quality of services in a caring and compassionate manner.
Job Functions
- Cleans all patient and non patient areas to high standards cleanliness.
- Follows all infection control policies and standards to minimize the transmission of microorganisms.
- Follows proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protection equipment for the safety of patients, Environmental Services Tech and staff.
- Promotes and maintains positive internal and external working relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
- Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team
- Ability to perform strenuous work under time constraints
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understandverbal and written instructions in the English language and respond accordingly in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
Preferred Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience (healthcare, hospitality, commercial etc.)
