Training Delivery Support (RNSMS Simulators)

Help get better trained people to the front line faster. Your role is to deliver high‑quality training support – demonstration, role play, simulator control, and equipment support and maintenance – for courses that use RNSMS simulators. The position is based onsite at HMS Raleigh, Torpoint and requires working the 4 pm to 10 pm backshift four weeks each term (Monday through Thursday). It is a 2‑year fixed‑term contract of 37.5 hours a week. Responsibilities Support instructors with simulator training sessions. Set up and configure simulator training environments. Brief students on course requirements and expectations. Adjust simulator parameters (speed, depth, etc.) to meet training objectives. Operate simulators during training sessions. Qualifications Good IT skills, including MS Office and the ability to adopt new technologies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in the Royal Navy or a related maritime environment is desirable. Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Adaptable to change and able to commit to the required shift pattern. Benefits Salary of £25,155 per annum.
