Must Key Words Rack Design (metal/steel) Expendable Packaging Returnable Packaging Totes Vacuum Form Trays Program/Project Management Business Case Cost Savings Role Responsibilities Design and develop packaging solutions for parts and assemblies, including metal/steel racks, totes, and vacuum-formed trays. Create and iterate CAD models, drawings, and specifications for both expendable and returnable packaging systems. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and program management teams to ensure packaging meets product protection, cost, and logistics requirements. Perform packaging validation, testing, and failure analysis; implement corrective actions and design improvements. Develop business cases and cost-savings proposals related to packaging initiatives, and support supplier selection and qualification. Manage packaging-related project tasks and timelines, ensuring alignment with program milestones. Maintain documentation, BOMs, and packaging specifications; update standards and best practices for packaging design.
