Healthcare Data Analyst Intern

Healthcare Data Analyst Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in gathering, structuring, and analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends
- Assist in health care claims analysis for the identification of billing opportunities
- Assist in the development and enhancement of dashboards and reports for external or internal reporting purposes
- Produce effective professional presentations of data and analyses
- Assist in automating report and dashboard delivery
- Perform data integrity checks between databases
- Run reports from databases and prepare spreadsheets for reporting
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or Business
- 0-3 years' experience (Healthcare/Medical background a plus); no experience required
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Sufficient written and verbal skills
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests.
- Basic proficiency in SQL, ability to use AI to build SQL queries
- Basic proficiency in PowerBI
- Understanding of statistics
