Professional Driver - Airport & Maritime Crew Transportation

Job Description

The Professional Transportation Driver provides reliable airport transfers and maritime crew transportation to ship docks and ports. Reporting to the business owner, this role operates sedans and SUVs, coordinates schedules, prioritizes passenger safety, and supports occasional overnight trips and multi-day assignments.

Responsibilities

Plan efficient routes for airport transfers and maritime crew transportation.
Inspect sedans and SUVs before and after trips to verify safe operating condition.
Transport passengers safely to airports, ship docks, ports, and other designated destinations.
Apply defensive driving practices and maintain compliance with transportation safety requirements.
Coordinate pickup and drop-off schedules, including multi-day assignments and occasional overnight trips.
Complete accurate trip documentation and maintain required transportation records.
Perform or coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and promptly report maintenance needs.
Provide professional customer service and clear communication throughout each trip.

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in professional driving.
Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements and be approved to drive under our insurance policy.
TWIC Card: Must have or be willing to obtain a TWIC card. We will assist with the process.
Knowledge of defensive driving and route navigation.
Experience with vehicle safety inspections and DOT compliance.
Customer service, time management, and communication skills.
