Electrical Design Engineer (Data Center)
We are hiring for all levels of experience with pay DOE
Location: San Jose, CA
Hybrid schedule 3-4 days a week on-site OR if you're not local
we are open to fully REMOTE
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.
We are a leading BAS/MEP Engineering Design firm specializing in Architectural Lighting Design, Commissioning and Energy Solutions, Sustainability, Technology (just to name a few) with a solid reputation in the field over the past 40 years.
Required:
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Proven track record in Electrical System Design using Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Experience in a hyperscale data center, or at least, mission critical data center experience
- Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and construction/engineering processes would be nice to have
Bonus points (not required):
- LEED accreditation and/or WELL certification
- Experience working on large-scale design and construction projects. xhyhwjd
- Experience working on highly technical design and construction projects such as Mission Critical, Cleanroom, Data Centers or Manufacturing projects.
- Any Lighting or Architecture design would be a huge bonus
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Architectural (AIA) license would be a bonus but not required
