Location: Hybrid in either Dallas TX or Richmond VA
Duration: 6+ Months

Required Skills: Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years with Microsoft SQL Server (2016-2022) in an enterprise-level environment, including setup, security, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning. 5+ years Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines. 5+ years Cloud Platform Engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment. Advanced proficiency with Python, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform, PowerShell is required. Deep understanding and hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management automation tools is required. 5+ years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of related tools, structure, and processes working in an Agile/Scrum setting. 3+ years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services to be consumed by the enterprise, including monitoring and production support.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud services such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, SQL, CosmosDB, Data Factory, Event Hub, Functions, Batch, Key Vault, Managed Identity, Service Principal, Networking, Active Directory, Log Analytics, Monitoring. Windows and Linux server/systems administration experience is highly desired. Azure Administrator certification, Solution Architect, or Databricks Platform Administrator certification, Snowflake SnowPro certification is a strong plus. Familiarity with microservices software architecture. Experience with Azure cost management and forecasting is desired.
