Senior Fixed Assets Accountant

To support the financial operations of a health system, the full-time Senior Fixed Assets Accountant will manage the recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial statements while working remotely across multiple states. Key responsibilities Record and track fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and manage asset disposals Compile financial statements and conduct general ledger reviews related to fixed assets Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors during annual audits Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience Minimum of four years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in fixed assets accounting Proficiency in automated accounting systems and general ledger software Experience leading projects and providing guidance to team members Preferred: MBA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent certifications
