Role Highlights
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups by utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
- Create individualized treatment plans that focus on both immediate and long-term goals addressing communication, cognitive, or swallowing difficulties.
- Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to craft comprehensive care approaches.
- Provide education and resources to patients and families to support development and progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout treatment.
- Keep meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not already ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hiring.
