We are seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).Job Duties:Driving to patient's homes and conducting home health visits independentlyProperly obtain and document medical historiesObtain consent, check patient history, and administer immunizationsComplete documentation of assessment and/or interventions of patientResponsible for home health visitsMinor troubleshooting of test systems and takes appropriate action according to predetermined protocolsIdentifies problems which may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and take appropriate action including supervisor notificationPerforms all relevant diagnostic tests as requiredPerforms venipuncture as requiredComplete accepted medical formsConduct weekly equipment check and report any equipment malfunctionsAdminister vaccinesAdminister medication to patients and measure vital signs.Monitor the patient’s progress and changes in behavior.Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocolsRecognizes situations which require the immediate attention of a physician or emergency careInteract with patients and their families in a compassionate mannerInteract with clinicians, other health professionals and staff in a courteous and professional mannerEffectively communicate and interact with patients and or agenciesParticipate in ongoing professional development activitiesMaintain a positive and professional work environmentMaintain the confidentiality of all Personal Health Information as dictated by HIPAA lawsParticipate in community events organized through DocGo Partnerships.Perform Health Screenings and other requested services at scheduled community events.Other duties as assignedRequirements:LPN LicenseBlood Withdrawal / Phlebotomy experienceWork experience with pediatricsA minimum of 2 years of LPN experienceBLS with American Heart AssociationValid Kentucky Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and acceptable driving recordExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to lift 50 - 60 lbsPatient bedside experience preferred (preferred but not required)Spanish speaking (preferred but not required)Must be comfortable driving and making home health visits independentlyEEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
