Role Description

This position functions as a primary technical authority responsible for sustaining and supporting a mature IBM i (formerly AS/400) environment and its COBOL-based business applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring system health, managing batch processes, supporting file transfers, and maintaining SQL-based data access.
• Providing technical expertise during the transition to OnBase.
• Ensuring system stability, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and optimizing or enhancing existing programs.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills are required.
• Education, degrees, and certifications listed on the resume must include valid details, including acquisition dates.
• Three professional supervisory references required upon submittal.

Requirements

• Candidate Location: Local candidates preferred; remote candidates must be located within the contingent United States.
• Must be able to work on the client's Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• Position will have a 37.5 hour work week; candidates must be able to work alternative schedules.
