Registered Nurse - Women's Services

Join a dedicated Women's Services team as a Registered Nurse (RN) with responsibilities including Providing comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, sharing patient data, and ensuring effective handoffs. Developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient responses, and adjusting treatments accordingly. Educating patients and families about procedures, medications, and discharge instructions. Administering medications safely, including Mag sulfate and Pitocin, and performing procedures like NG tube placement and intrauterine pressure catheter insertion. Supporting post-operative and neonatal care, including caring for preterm infants and managing complications. Initiating and maintaining treatments such as amnio infusions and fetal monitoring. Supervising and training staff as needed. Qualifications & Skills Current North Carolina license or Compact license with endorsement. 1-3 years of Women's Services and Labor & Delivery experience (PRN). Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and handle stressful situations.
