We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate subcontractors, manage scheduling, order materials, and collaborate closely with Project Managers. Experience with Procore is a must, and prior supervision of commercial building projects valued between $10M-$30M is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors effectively.

• Read and interpret architectural drawings accurately.

• Order and track project materials efficiently.

• Manage scheduling and ensure timely project completion.

• Perform field surveying and layout activities for sitework and vertical construction projects.

• Utilize GPS rover equipment for construction staking, as-built surveys, grading layout, and foundation layout.

• Work closely with Project Managers, owners, and field personnel.

Work Environment

This position is approximately 70% field-based and 30% office/trailer-based. The Superintendent will travel between active commercial construction projects throughout West Virginia, including areas from Summersville to Buckhannon. Daily interaction with subcontractors, Project Managers, owners, and field personnel is expected

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairmont, WV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $83000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
