Summary

 

This Inside Sales Specialist position is in the Commercial Group within Kibar Americas Fairmont Operations. The position is in an extremely high growth, dynamic and exciting environment. The position will interact internally with the Executive Team, Account Managers, Operations, and Supply Chain as well as externally with customers.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

Administration Major Deliverables:

 

• Administrative accuracy of customer POs – entering and verifying customer purchase orders
• Assist the inside sales department to eliminate waste by continually looking for opportunities to automate administrative processes
• Develop and maintain queries and other reports as required by the organization
• Compile information for maintaining and distributing daily, weekly and monthly customer reports with a high level of accuracy
• Create/Maintain charts to track department metrics
• Maintain updated customer information in the SAP system

C ustomer Sales & Service Major Deliverables:

 

• Manage the customer order cycle process. This includes, but is not limited to bookings, standard order entry, scheduling, and pricing
• Familiarization with personnel in the commercial, operational, supply chain, and executive teams as well as who are the appropriate contacts for different situations
• Develop an understanding of the organization’s flat-rolled products, their manufacturing flow paths, characteristics, and sizes so as to be able to effectively discuss our products with our customers
• First responder to Cold Calls
• Supply agreement reviews
• Enter and Book Rework/Replacement orders and Scrap Orders
• Provide the inside sales department with first level help chain assistance and instruction with PC/software related questions

 

Minimum Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Prior industrial/manufacturing inside sales/customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to tactfully, expeditiously and professionally interact with internal and external customers.
• Experience with SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Skills for actively looking for ways to help internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing so others will understand
• Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)
• Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules

Working Conditions

 

This position is based in a professional environment in Fairmont, WV and requires work to be performed remotely as well as within the office space. The working hours are generally 8:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST but will require periodic work outside of normal business hours as well as occasional travel both during and outside of normal business hours.

 

The role involves the routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, printers, and phones, as well as virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom. The physical demands must be met by an employee to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of this job consistent with federal, state, and local standards, as well as company productivity standards.
