Sr. Staff Accountant

Location: Pala Casino, California
Job Purpose : Compile information to prepare financial statements.
Qualifications:
• Ability to use a 10-key calculator, telephone, copy machine, and computer
• Ability to lift bound computer reports weight up to 20 lbs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Bilingual a plus.
Essential Job Functions:
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
• Reconciling daily and monthly activity in all business venues.
• Preparing monthly journal entries (recurring and adjusting.
• Processing miscellaneous accounting deposits.
• Preparation of monthly contribution schedule.
• Preparation of audited, detailed monthly financial statements.
• Perform other duties as assigned. " * " indicates required fields
