Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing innovative legal solutions and fostering meaningful client relationships. Duties Interpret laws, rules, and regulations related to Workers' Compensation practice. Review medical evidence and records. Analyze case outcomes, gather evidence, and conduct interviews. Communicate with claims representatives and relevant parties. Present cases to arbitrators and draft legal documents. Manage a full caseload efficiently. Requirements Licensed attorney in Illinois with 1+ years of workers' compensation defense experience. Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication. Curious and resourceful with investigative abilities. Prepared to handle a fast-paced practice environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills Ability to interpret complex legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Benefits Hybrid work environment.
